What is a Meet & Greet, and what should I expect during my Meet & Greet appointment?
A Meet & Greet at Barkingham Place is a short, friendly evaluation where we get to know your dog and see how they interact with our staff and other pups. It ensures a safe, fun fit for daycare or boarding. Just bring your dog, their vaccine records, and any questions you have—we’ll take care of the rest!
What if my dog has dietary restrictions or allergies?
If your dog has dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know in advance. We can accommodate special dietary needs and ensure that your dog’s meals are managed according to their requirements.
How do you ensure the safety of the dogs in your care?
Safety is our top priority. Every dog undergoes a thorough safety check before joining our daycare. Our facility is equipped with secure play areas and monitored closely by our trained staff to ensure a safe and positive experience for all dogs.

Are there additional charges for puppies under 1 year old?
Yes, puppies under 1 year old require extra care and attention, so there is an additional charge only for boarding.
Is there an extra cost for boarding during holidays?
Yes, for boarding services during holidays, there is a 20% additional charge. This helps us ensure premium care during our busiest times so your dog can enjoy a safe and comfortable stay.
What should I bring for my dog’s stay?
Please bring any necessary food, medications, and a comfort item such as a favorite blanket or toy. We provide bedding and fresh water to keep your dog comfortable.
Is there shade and heated or cooled areas for my dog to have downtime or indoor play?
Yes! We have climate controlled areas where your dog can relax and plenty of dog beds and comfort items for relaxation. In addition, there are dog doors for both areas so that your dog can be inside or outside at their leisure.
Will I receive updates?
Yes! It's our policy to send minimum two photos/updates per day. Usually there are more because we know you're excited to see your dog's happiness in action!
